We then split up into 3 groups
Salt Cellars: On every single group vigil here there was tapping in the pots and pans room. The low ceiling cellar on two of the groups they were being touched - the men that is. Sam had picked up on the name Bertie and he was a man from the hospital days (when it was residential home in the 1950's) and he had a liason with another man elsewhere. He tapped in response to questions. This was confirmed by Holly on the second break and told us his name is Robert. The third group, the moment Sam said Roberts proper name a stone was thrown.
Theatre Cellars: Petes victoriana vigil had good ouija with family members coming through, and is a known portal in the theatre cellars for this to happen. The table tipping also went fantastic. They played Adelina Patti (an opera singer and owner for 50 years) song she used to sing and later on they all heard her singing beautifully on stage for about 5 seconds.
The Derelict Areas: many rooms to explore and two floors. The equipment vigil was held here and there was a little girl who had made her presence known on the k2s. She started to affect one of the groups and making them cry for no reason. In the end it got so bad, a staff member said ' right you must step away now as this is no good for our guests' and immeadiatly afterwards they heard running footsteps and the little girl was heard crying.
After the vigils most guests retired to thier rooms but three guests, Sam the medium and Holly braved it by sleeping in the derelict areas. The beds that were there looked like they had been around in the 1970's and although they were clean-ish, they still smelt of mushrooms lol. During that sleepover they heard men talking in the corridor. they knew it was not staff or guests as there is a keypad to access the derelict floors to get in.
The morning was supplied by a full english breakfast and ceareals and muffins.
All in all craig y nos was brilliant. its size, the way th vigils are non contaminated as the areas are so far apart, its amazing and will be booking it as a regular.
Ancient Ram Inn
From Craig y Nos we headed east to the ancient ram inn in gloucstershire for our second night of ghost hunting. It was our fourth visit and John was as gracious and helpful and welcoming as ever.
Tierd from the night before, but undettered, we carried on and did the ghost hunt and we had some cracking activity.
The barn provided a loud bang on the table in on vigil when we challenged skuse the highwayman and we asked if the militia caught up with him. Also in the barn we had a misty apparition of Rosie one of the children and it resulted in cheers and claps afterwards.
The Witches room had the door opening on its own with Charles Lancery, the priest that murdered his daughter Rosie in 1290. That happened several times. Also the k2s went off when Charles wouldnt allow any other spirit to come into the room and Sam had to push him back to make this happen. The k2s all flashed when she did this and then we had a great k2 conversation with Mary Gibbons, the high priestess who on previous visits tends to be a show off and also has made her presence know with her voice, and the k2s and doors slamming in the bar. The Bishops room was home to many cold spots and we had a fantastic time with the dowsing and getting hold of skuse again.
It was a great night at the Ram. John was flirty as ever, especially with our staff member Gemma. Much as she tried bless her, she couldnt get away lol.
