Bull i thorn ghost hunt fourth visit, another surpsise

Again another cracking time at the ull i th thorn buxton in derbyshire.
the ouija board went great again in the party room, as well did the table tipping and also the automatic handwriting. At  the pool table room some great taps were heard from the bar. the medieval room was great for the k2s' but the best bit was the kitchen :D
the kitchen has always been the quiet room in the past.,, but not this time. the k2s would dance the lights about and then tapping was heard. upon investigation the kitchens rack up above with the pots and pans on was swinging about. 4 times we asked and with each time it would move again!
We will be here february the 9th and also october the 25th of 2013. so if you want to visit, join http://www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk

Bull I th Thorn Ghost Hunt 3rd visit october 2012

Bull I' Th' Thorn

The Bull I' Th' Thorn is a coaching inn that dates back to 1472 near Buxton Derbyshire. Prestige Have Been Here before and we found this place to be spooky as anything, so its well worth the visit..

For over 500 years the Bull I’ Th’ Thorn has offered a warm welcome to travellers and locals alike.

During the 18th and 19th Centuries this was a prominent Coaching Inn on the Manchester to Derby route and they still offer a friendly and welcoming ‘old world e’ atmosphere in their Medieval Inn and Restaurant. The Bull 'I' Th' Thorn has had several occasions of paranormal activity. With its dark cellars, and kitchens, back rooms and main medieval bar and with a sumptuous two course meal included, this place is a must see.

Situated alongside the Roman Road which runs from Buxton to Ashbourne is The Bull 'I Th' Thorn. Built over 700 years ago this farmhouse became a hostelry named The Bull in 1472. In 1654 the name of The Bull was changed to Hurdlow House  and was often referred to as Hurdlow Thorn. The name Bull I' Th' Thorn is derived from the combination of these past names.

The age of Bull 'I Th' Thorn is displayed throughout. With original Tudor panelling and stone flagged floor throughout.

With over 400 years as a hostelry which is situated alongside a very popular commuter route. The Bull 'I Th' Thorn has a very long and interesting history, including plague victims, Civil War, and Highwayman.

Upon arriving on our third visit here, the cosy warm atmosphere is inviting, however later on, the atmosphere does change, once all the guests that have frequented the inn that night have left. The meal you do have on the night is superb, and their staff and managers Michael and deputy manager Matt are really welcoming and answer any questions about the Inn. We found out on the third visit here that President Kennedy had once visited the pub and sat by the fireplace to have one drink there on his way on a day visit to Derby.

Previous visits here had Marshall Godwin, a man who murdered a lady called Mary, a servant girl here. He had twice made his presence known by touching the ladies he fancied, when they requested to. It always happened approximately 3 mins after they would ask and would touch their hair, back, and bottom and legs. Angus McPherson a Scottish cavalier type gentleman had made his presence known in the pool table room, and when he arrived, guests in a particular corner felt ill and on the first visit, we had a guest almost collapse on us as he affected her so much. In the party room there is a dance floor, great for table tipping sessions and a little girl had made the table dance around with our hands only gently touching it. On the second visit she moved the table that violently, it broke, and then screams were heard in the ladies toilets around 30 seconds afterwards. Upon investigation there were two lady drinkers who was in cubicle one and three, however the middle cubicle's door was slammed shut and the lights were flickering. The cubicle number two was empty. The kitchens had some great k2 activity prior as well and tapping noises in the medieval room.

The third visit started off the night with another great meal, Gammon and all the trimmings, as well as tomato soup for a starter which was home-made, and so delicious I could have had two of those.

The pool table room again had Angus making people feel not quite right is the best and only way I can describe it. Also Marshall again made his presence known by touching two of the ladies, and again approximately 3 minutes after they asked. The Party room was great because we had the little girl making the table go yet again, she loves to play with them and us. She also moved marbles on the floor and rolling them around. The medieval room proved interesting by a girl called Francine, she made the clock tick rather strangely. Instead of your usual tick tock, tick tock, upon request she would make the clock go tick tick tick tock, tick tick tick tock. 3 very quick ticks, followed by one long tock. She also made the k2 meters flash by the clock, to red, showing some strong electromagnetic field when we asked her to move the pendulum. Angus too made the k2 meters flash to red in the car park outside. We had a full on conversation with him, move towards the k2's for a yes answer, step away for a no answer. The Main bar is very good for ouija boards, and Marshall came through on the board explaining he got away with the murder of Mary, and that he did not mean for it to go that far. It was a sex game gone wrong in his eyes. In Mary's eyes however it was a rape followed by strangulation, that our medium had sensed on the night. She also sensed that Mary had two jobs, working at the inn, and also working as some sort of unpaid community nurse, making sure that people were healthy. In the Main bar also, we had some great light anomalies seen with the naked eye.

The Bull I' Th' Thorn, has to be for us, one of best inn/pub locations you can go for a ghost hunt. We have done many a pub and inn over the years in the midland area and around, and a lot are all left in disappointment and were basically stories made up over a beer or 12 over the years. This one and the Lion and Swan in Congleton Cheshire are our top places to visit for activity that is very recent.

We are at the Bull I' Th' Thorn during 2013. First of all we are here in February 9th 2013, so if you want an early valentines gift and your into ghost hunting, what better way than having a ghost hunt with a sumptuous meal. Another visit is at Friday 25th of October, on Halloween weekend 2013.

A great ghost hunt at bolling hall

We had a great time at bolling hall. The cellar proved interesting on the ouija board, seemed like one spirit had a thing for someones finger and it was pulsating. In the civil war room there was great table tipping and the huge table went aroud and around the k2's were confirming when people were being touched. Then there were footsteps. In the solar room and the red room the k2's were going and the nursery everyone laughed when the k2's went off everytime someone said the word' bum'. The taps and bangs were occuring again in thecivil war room, the kitchen and the red room.
Was a great night all in all and we are going back there again on november 2nd 2013

Sams Prediction on this weekends bolling hall event

Sams our resident medium is going to start on some predictions on the locations that weve visited before and try and predict where is going to be the most active on the night. And yes although its been active in certain areas before, it can change from visit to visit. take the ancient ram inn for example. first visit to the witches room, not a thing, the second visit we had poltergiest activity and a light bulb was thrown, so yes it does vary to right place right time.,..
anyhows, here what sam has to say on the 8th of december 2012 visit to Bolling Hall:
I reacon the main hall the base room will be the place that has the least activity, it seems to be the other rooms im sensing which will be the most active. I do think that people are going to feel watched in the cellar, although the last two visits we had nothing, but this time i feel like that there will be shadows thats for sure. The Red Room wont be as active as last time, but the ghost room will be this time with taps and creaks on command to yes and no answers.
The Civil war room will be active again, but more sinister than before and the smells will be back. The nursery and the servants quarters are going to be great for the k2's and being watched again will be in the kitchen. Outside, people are going to sense someone on the driveway as well especially a lady thats got longish dark hair whos going to be quite mediumstic.

Theres tickets left for this weekend, so if you want to come, visit http://www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk for more info

Prestige are off to bolling hall bradford for thier third visit. if you want to join us, then visit the website www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk and you could be on our next blog!
Its got great charecter and mr tempest can be a real bitch at times, by pushing people, and prodding and banging so hard on the tables to make you jump. trust me, he dont like visitors!

Landguard fort ghost hunt suffolk 1st visit amazing!

Landguard fort in suffolk is big, very big. so big in fact you would have to do at least 4 ghost hunts here to cover all the areas properly. We had a blackboard in one of the rooms thats split into two and they are on a hinge which opens out. well one of the doors did open, when we knew that the catch was definatly on there beforehand, plus the fact the catch is 7ft high as well so not very easy to get to. very strange.
On the second vigil the wind died down and we got good responses from 'make the door squeak one for yes and twice for no' by a home guard who confirmed he was from the world war.
Where everyone was having a ciggerette break, there was shadows darting across and sam sensed its one of the two soldiers from the 1700's in the seven years war who didnt want us around and the shadow in question was by a man called maurice. We was in contact on the k2 meters by a dutchman, who also came to the ouija board and only named as mr 'b' he confirmed 4 other spirits in the room, and that he died from an illness which sam picked up as brucella - a disease that is contracted from unpasturized foods. The spirit of a little boy that sam got Frederick, he made the k2's go off when people sang wind the bobbin up. Then there was Doris, a lady who had also been incontact with the k2's was 14 years of age and married. but would not say anymore and would not answer personal questions. The shadow meter picked up the dutchman near matt, one of our guests. Then Pete saw a full apparition of a man in a black trenchcoat and army boots which was on the upper floors in the inner circle of the building. In the cells, we had a man called cecil who was in the army but died in 1835. and he said he his job was hq.
The boiler room, that was brilliant. doors slamming on command and whistles being heard when we whistled first. lol  A fantastic location, very very easy to get to. and loved every min of it.We will be booking again for 2013 very soon so keep your eyes peeled on our website http://www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk

Drakelow Tunnels Ghost Hunt was a good un

Prestige and guests went to drakelow tunnels, its dark depressing atmosphere has not changed from the last time we been here. when we arrived the candles had not been set up so it was pitch black as always. the candles are always in the base room and toilets, but everywhere else, 3 miles of tunnels and interconnecting rooms is completly dark.
We picked up on various spirits, including ladies this time who seemed to be flirtatious in thier day.
The canteen taps were heard and our new glow in the dark dowsing rods seemed to have an effect of recent ghost hunts with the spirits liking to move them about when they were not in use.
Tunnel 1 was a mixed bag of fun on the first vigil, but on the second and third it seemed like you was not alone and the atmosphere changed to foreboding.
In the telephone area, the table tipping went fantastic. The raf area taps and shadows occured as well as great light anomalies. we are here next saturday 23rd of february, so if you want to join us, visit http://www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk for more info

Lion and Swan ghost hunt in cheshire report.

Prestige Paranormal went to the lion and swan in cheshire on saturday the 17th of november 2012. we had been here before in may and had high expectations from the last visit, because we had poltergeist activity and had everything from toy trains thrown at us, to the sealant cap, and also a light fitting.
The meal we had was fantanstic and loved the atmosphere. the guests who was in haunted room 20 had already activity where the drawers opened on thier own. Sam went up to set the table and found the drawers did exactly the same thing again. She re set them back and they never did it again whilst she was there.
In the cellar in the disco area we got great k2's and in the workshop area we tried everything to get the poltergeist again, we did have a smaller toy train move by a spirit of a little boy and taps on the workbench. We got the glass moving and pete said if the spirit had a message for him and we got a great 'yes' captured on evp.
Lion and swan is great it is active, not as violent as the previous visit, but i do think that the reason for that was the first visit was a hen night ghost hunt and there were nervous giggling girls and i think this created an atmosphere, wheres this time there was calmness from team 1 which was my medium friends, then group 2 it was all jovial, but no nervous tension, and group 3 was very very friendly, so again no nervous tension.
But strange thing that did happen that  never happened before, was that a sspirit on command as well made the camcorder do a whirring sound.

Avenue House previous visit and future ghost hunt in london

Ghostly Goings On At Avenue House In London
Prestige Paranormal a ghost hunting events company in Nottingham treks across the whole of the UK to discover the unknown at some of the most intiguing buildings around.
We visited Avenue House in Finchely London a mansion that goes back to the 1800's and was owned by Stephens the gentleman that had invented the blue/blck ink. This 86 roomed mansion is very impressive and stands in it's own grounds. It houses a labratory, a school room and at least a 20 room cellar and including a bell tower at the very top.
Upon arrival we was greeted into a lovely reception area, perfect for weddings I may add and was given the grand tour of the building. After this we set up our equipment and our usuall tasty treats for the guests when its tea break time.
The Cellar was the most active. There was a little boy that seemed to take a liking to one of the staff members of Avenue House and she joined us on the vigil in one of the deepest parts of the cellars many rooms. We heard the bouncing of a ball, which was usuall sound to hear on an ordinary ghost hunt, as if he was playing. Then we asked if some of the guests could get touched or held by the hand and on many occasions, that happened when we asked. We have a high tech piece of equipment we call the shadow meter, which detect shadows in a dark room and the little boys shadow, which by the way came to just above waist height would move from guest to guest when called over. Everyone was amazed and the reading of the shadow was exactly the same everytime. A k2 Meter is another piece of equipment we use. It is said that they detet electromagnetic fields, something that ghosts and spirits give off and a k2 meters signal from low to high is one of coloured lights. Green being the lowest or no emf, or on through orange and onto red light, the highest emf field. In the cellar with the little boy, everytime we asked him to come close to the k2 meters, they would go immeadiatly to red. Then we conducted a 'stay away for a no answer / come towards the k2's for a yes answer' scenario. And from the yes no answers we was getting, we learned that he loved the lady that works there and that he came from the late 1800's.
In the Bell Tower, proved interesting. We had footsteps going up the stairs towards the bell tower which baffled us as upon checking, there was no-one there.
In a dressing room on the second floor, we had a very interesting conversation with a lady servant that worked there and died by taking arsenic because her love of her life moved to Ireland and left her pregnant and un-married and had her child taken away from her. She tapped one tap for yes and two taps for no in response every time. This was the highlight of the night as we had a good 1/2 hour conversation with her and the taps immeadiatly stopped. We know it wasnt the heating because it was never on to begin with.
In the Labratory, now this was fun. We had slight taps and nothing to write home about as they was very feint. But upon just general chit-chat amongst ourselved we heared a loud 'ssssssh'. We beleive this could have been a house mistress at the time as the medium did pick up that she was strict and did not like noise. Plus the fact that staff absolutely hate this room and has a feel to it that something nasty will happen.
Avenue House has to be without a doubt one of the best places in London to ghost hunt. It's very big, so you get chance to go off on your own and do your own thing if your brave enough, and it's active in differing places from one side to the next; to the very top of the building and down to the cellars below.
Prestige Paranormal will be visting here again on Saturday 16th of February 2013 and to purchase tickets for this event is available on our website http://www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk
Here is the video link of our last visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MD-7OaMuVYc with the above activity as mentioned on video.

Margam Castle South Wales halloween hit

Sunday the 28th of october prestige and guests went to margam castle. Always an amazing place this one.
Sams mediumship vigil went well in the tapestry room and christopher talbots room, chairs moving about and stones being thrown, muchly fun.
Andys equipment vigil went well with the k2s going off by emily talbot
The ouija session went well in the dining room with a monk throwing stones in there and also a bottle cap. In the upstairs room we got jt on the board.
We love margam castle, its dark, gothic and because they doing a movie there, theyve decorated it into fantastic tastle, especially the demon room upstairs with the seven deadly sins painted on the ceiling. The demon room was charlottes room, shes still there making taps and bangs in responses and you ccould hear the swooshing of her dress.

Stanley Palace Ghosst Hunt chester halloween 2012

Prestige Paranormal and guests went to stanley palace in chester for thier halloween ghost hunt. We had a cracking time. Although stanley palace is not as big as some of our usual locations, it certainly has fantastic activity.
When setting up pete and sam went into the courtyard where sam sensed a man that got stabbed in the left hand side of the stomach. He was a cheeky chappie called fowler and he made his presence known by kissing sam and her feeling cobweb feeling on her lips. Pete had his foot stamped on by him. When the guests arrived we had the table tipping, ouija going also in the base room. Sam had the queens room and her and 8 other guests in her group saw an apprition of an old mans head and shoulders in the courtyard looking in. Since the courtyard is sealed by its own building, we ae all accounted for and the apparition called george made his presence even brighter when asked by one member of our group and dull again when asked.
There was also a photo of a purple mist coming down the stairs which was interesting, and uptairs we had the loudest bags we had in the long gallery by henry. Sam cheekily asked since hes an accountant to be included in his will. he banged twice for no lol.
it was a cracking event and lovved every min of it. When packing up we had everything in the car. There was only the keys that needed to be done and when there was ust the four of us in there, we heard a chair being dragged upstairs. We then had an extra vigil for 10 mins on our own and we had taps and bangs again in reponse. We will be going back there again in november next year, Since prestige paranormal do have an infinity with the ghost there and they all seem to do really well for us, if you do want to join us visit http://www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk

Clitheroe Castle on Pendle Hill Ghost Hunt

Prestige Paranormal and Guests went to pendle Hill on saturday 20th of october. There are 3 buildings here which you can discover. Theres the castle keep, the main base room areas, and the stewards house which houses the main museum. Interesting in the castle keep with the k2 meters going off to questions, in the stewards house in the study proved interesting as we was hearing footsteps by a seargeant and his presence everyone could feel and he even stood in the centre of the circle and people was seeing a blackness. We also made contact with a sarah warborton there a maid who was murdered. Then there was cold spots. There was some table tipping going off on the upper part of the stewards house, but everybody most of all loved the kitchens. With everyone really still with thier backs up against the wall to eliminate natural sway, the motion sensors went off by a girl spirit. Then female guests were starting to feel sick and then in the darkness a light went off in the disabled toilets. you could see light around the doorframe. When investigating the only way you could put this light on iss via walking in and having a sensor going off to make the light come on. The door was shut the whole entire time.
At the end of the night it did get too much for one guest who was sensitve and had to leave as the soldier that was making everyone feel ill got too great.
Upstairs in the hospital area, sam and beki did a ouija board session with john one of the pendle witches coming through on the board. We was glad to make contact with a pendle hill witch, since you cannot investigate tynedlae farms like most haunted did as they are private dwellings. But glad we had a great time and it was active. The atmosphere wass very good and almost spiritual in a way, a bit like you would find glastonbury.
We are here on saturday 26th of october 2013. If you want to reserve a place, you can with a £20.00 deposit to secure the booking. but get them fast. we sold out this event this year and this was a week before halloween. The event was sold out 6 weeks before the event date at the beginning of september and on checking analytics, the amount of people wanting a pendle hill ghost hunt arounf the time of halloween was tremendous, the search query for pendle hill ghost hunt trippled in the month of october 2012. and everyone in the business, including us had sold out, some months in advance. so if you want a place, book now before you are disappointed

Clitheroe Castle on the base of Pendle Hill Ghost Hunt Saturday 20th october 2012

Prestige are proud to go to Clitheroe Castle and with it being situated at the base of Pendle Hill, this place will come into its own with the Pendle Witches around and on the 400 year anniversary too!

The Castle Keep - Built in 1186 by Robert de Lacy, The Norman keep of Clitheroe Castle is said to be the second smallest keep in England. The keep was damaged after its capture by Parliamentary forces during the civil war, but was repaired in 1848 with the smooth limestone blocks now clearly visible. There is a legend that the Devil threw a boulder  from Pendle Hill and hit the castle creating the  hole you can see today.
It's not just what is inside the museum that tells a story, the building itself is part of the long and fascinating history of the castle.
This was the Steward's House and parts of the building date from at least 1720.  It was built as accommodation for the Steward and his household.  During the 1700's it was used as a prison and courthouse.
The Steward was the official who looked after the manor or Honor Of Clitheroe's business all the legal and financial affairs to do with the castle and its wider property.  The Steward's House, like the castle keep and the surrounding parkland came into public ownership as part of Clitheroe's war memorial after the First World War.
So when you walk through the museum you are exploring part of the early history of the region that goes right back to the origins of the castle after William the Conqueror.
In 1612 a law was passed which forbid any act of “making a covenant with an evil spirit, hurting life or limb, injuring live stock by means of charms or procuring love". All acts were subject to the death penalty.  By order of James I. During the Pendle which trials Margaret Pearson was pilloried at Clitheroe Castle, head and hands locked in a wooden framework on a post to be exposed to public scorn as punishment. She was also pilloried at Padiham, Whalley and Lancaster, followed by a year of imprisonment at Lancaster Castle.
Ghosts of a man a woman and a child have been seen and have been thought to have all come from the same family.
The ghost of a young servant girl and a man in uniform also have been reported here. Light anomalies have been captured and loud moans and audibles have been heard. And of course the obvious pendle hill witches especially Margeret. A shadowy figure has also been seen from the window and including a white lady.

Clitheroe castle is very close to Pendle Hill, famous for the Pendle Hill Witches, Its history dates back to William the Conqueror and the Norman
conquest. With an impressive back drop of Pendle Hill, just the drive there is enough to scare most people. With Pendle hill in the distance and the infamous witches that have been known to have murdered 17 people in the 1600's, it comes to no surprise that this area is full of activity and history and emotions. Are you brave enough to spend the night?

10. Bull i' th' thorn in Derbyshire . Great food and great activity. Marshall touches the ladies he likes everytime weve been here and also the haunted clock which changes its ticks when you ask for it and also the spirit of the girl who broke our table on the table tipping session and then slamming the toilet door as she was scared and making the lights flicker and two ladies scream when it happened lol we are here with a christmas 3 course dinner 15th dcember 2012, and also for a 2 course dinner 9th of february 2013

9. Drakelow Tunnels in Kidderminster Worcestershire. Drakelow has 3 miles of tunnels and rooms to explore. Its very very cold, and very vry dark, so dark you cant see you had infront of you, and we had moans and groans and stones being thrown back to us when we threw them first. Also being touched by walter the caretaker.....hes lovely lol .we are here friday 23rd of november and february 2013

8. Guys Cliffe House Warwickshire Guys cliffe is violent. A guest got pushed down 6 steps into the game larder, a full apparition of a french soldier was seen there by one of our guests, an investigator friend of ours got poked in the eye by johnathan the rapist, moans and groans are heard and a partial apparition in the coach house. As well as an audible whistle. will be hre again in march 2013

7. Woodchester Mansion Gloucestershire. Emf Meters dont stand a chance here, been three times already and they dont go off, but the light intensity meter does detecting the shadow in the attic. There is a demon in the attic which gives it its number seven, its attacked me and thrown stones at me so thats why its in the top ten. Not to mention the elemental in the cellar which made a few of us dance for no reason lol will be here again in april 2013

6. Lion and swan in Congleton cheshire. Great meal location great emfs in the room 20, but the cellar is what gives it its number 6. The poltergeist activity is immense. 5. Keilder Castle Northumberland. Sleepover location. Yes we slept in sleeping bags here and you can as well, were going in may so for more information and any other events go to the website www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk Knocking in response to questions by emma in attic 1. Shadows being detected in attic 2 of a little boy. an im not talking tiny attics, there huge with 5 or 6 rooms in! Then in Maries room her shadow blocked out the light eminating from the glow in the dark dowsing rods and the psychometry was brilliant with both parties picking up on her energy. Then there was the stone throwing and emfs going off, not to mention the big ball of light the size of  a beach ball in the base room and where it is, theres no outside light source...weird lol
will be here in may 2013 sorry no winters here as its too too cold to sleep in and very remote!

4. Avenue House London,. Great location, 86 rooms! the cellar was great with the bouncy ball being heard, emf meters going in response to questions, as well as the shadow meter detecting spirits. Bell tower we heard footsteps coming in the stairs and in the labatory there were tapping noises and lights being seen with the naked eye.On the second floor in one of the many rooms, there was a spirit who died of a broken heart and she tapped realy loudly in response to questions. will be returning here february 2013

3.Whittington Castle Shropshire. Table tippng was fantastic :D thanks to mathilda the spirit for that one. Also the ouija board went wennt and some guests felt blowing in their ear by a spirit called francis, the gate keeper. In the guards room there were shadows being picked up on the meter and also the k2s were going off in response by a little boy in the tower. will be returning here in april 2013

2. Ancient Ram Inn Gloucestershire. Psychological nightmare this one. Arriving and having a look around you feel like your being watched constantly. Dragging noises above whilst on a break in the bishops room upstairs. Also being locked out of the bishops room too!. Best ouija session here as both teams had the same information , including the year the priest murdered his illigimate daughter.
Then in the barn we saw his partial apparition of his hand and his cuff. In the attic the door below opened and closed on its own. we going there jan 19th (sorry november 2012 has sold out!)

1. Margam Castle South wales. Active from set up to finish! footsteps to start off with when fetching the water for the tea urn. 12 foot board which was up against the wall was pushed over from the top down onto the floor and was witnessed by guests. The door slamming in the servants staircase. Emf meters going crazy in pollingtons room. shadows being seen in the tapestry room, knocking on the table in one of the bedrooms, chairs being dragged, orbs captured in the library, as well as a light anomalie leaving my sceptical husbands back when he was suffering from a crippling bad back and i took the spirit away from him. Then the emfs going on the stairs when i said that robert the gamekeeper was there on one particular step. the k2's went right up to red where i said he was:D

The team at prestige Paranormal Ghost Hunts

Samantha Coupe, Has been ghost huntng for many years and she became a medium in 2009 after going to open circles to develop. Since then she was on many ghost hunts as a guest, before her and her husband started up prestige paranormal in may 2011. She is involved in the mediumship walkaround, and also the mediumship vigil. The mediumship vigil entails dowsing rods, pendulums, scrying mirror, and singapore experiment, as well as hand held vigils.

Andrew Coupe, He has been ghost hunting with sam and hes the sceptical one of the group, it makes very good conversations with his wife sam who is the medium and the debates can go on for hours at thier house lol. Hes in charge of the equipment vigil at the ghost hunts. His favorite phrase is '' what cant speak, cant lie'' and deals with k2 meters, laser thermometers, light intensity meter, franks box, motion sensors, ssuper sound hearing enhancers, laser grid pens and many more.

Wayne, is Gemma Ropers fiance and has been ghost hunting with sam and andy and gemma since the start. He too went on to develop his mediumship with sam and together they do the mediumship walkaround. Wayne deals with the victoriana vigil which entails the ouija board (which is optional, we never force, and yes it is very protected!), glass work and table tipping.

Gemma Roper, shes on the fence when it comes to the paranormal, She does mainly the equipment vigil, but participate in all three when theres quite a few members of staff around.

Pete Morris, what can we say about pete! he was a guest on our first ghost hunt as a company to the leicester guildhall, and he went on a few events, and at the galleries, he dressed as a udge on the mediumship walkaround and we knew we just had to have him as staff!. Hes very much on the fence, would love nothing more than a personal experience to happen to him. Hes very entertaining and quite often produces some very funny footage for our outake videos on you tube.

So you have mediumship vigil, victoriana vigil and equipment vigil, various things throughout the night so your guys dont get bored! Plas lone vigils and group vigils at the end, and also refreshment breaks throughout inc tea coffee juices, hot chocolate, mini brownies, sausage rolls, chocolate bars, mini flapjacks, dunking buscuits.

If you want to join us and be a part of the ghost hunting experience with our mad lot, then join us at www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk

Ps were in nottingham so if theres any experienced ghost hunters who want to be a part of the crew from time to time on our busy times of the year, visit the website and message us. Sorry local please derbyshire or nottinghamshire so we can give you a lift :D often found its adds well over an hour to the travelling time if its too far and driving in the wee small hours, not very good for saftey and sleepyheads lol.

Prestige Paranormal Ghost Hunts Starts Blogging

Prestige Paranormal has only just realised that we have a great blog site here. We cant wait to get started :D For people wondering who we are, we are a ghost hunting events company in the uk, who like nothing more than to go round haunted historical buildings with our guests and find the paranormal.
Currently halloween is coming right up and we know that its the start of the ghost hunting season and tickets have been going fast. Although Halloween is great for a ghost hunt, we have found over the years that anytime is a good time for ghost hunting, for example we went to margam castle in february and it was active start to finish, or in may when the sunset was rather late in the evenings, at 7.30pm when it was still light, we saw a full apparition at stanley palace in chester.
We have seen good places to ghost hunt and also bad places. Ones that havent been so bright are pubs that claim they haunted, but were simply drunken stories over the bar that have been distorted over the years. However, there are some right little gems such as the bull i th thorn on derbyshire, or the lion and swan in cheshire, and the feathers hotel in shropshire. If we come across anymore great inns, we will be posting up on the blog.
Some places we have been to have been the most frightening, ancient ram in in gloucestershire, drakelow tunnels in worcestershire, and also bolling hall in bradford. We have yet to go to clitheroe castle in lancashire at the base of pendle hill, however were visiting the on october the 20th so will keep everyne informed as to how it goes. Were looking forward to that one as its haunted in its own right, as well as doncaster air museum, weve yet to visit a museum  which houses various planes and will be excited to do the psychometry experiment there.
We have various places leading up to christmas, so if you want to come join us,  visit www.prestigeparanormalevents.co.uk and on there is a list of our upcoming events all across the country.
